10n Project - Ministry of the Environet
The Ministry of the Environment needed assistance in updating their internal website, which all of their
employees need to use to find key information about the organization and its objectives. 10n
was able to completely redesign the internal site within an extremely tight timeline, and increase the site
functionality and useability. Based on the success of the Intranet launch, the public site redesign proposal
was also done with 10n. 10n was also involved in the staffing process of their newly
created Web Development Team.
The environet project was also designed by 10n. All of the user interface standards,
overall templates, QA/QC testing guidelines, page flow prototypes, and presentation tier JSP pages for selected
applications were all done by 10n staff. The primary project that 10n
was involved in developing (OnAIR) was judged an unconditional success, coming in both within deadlines and
within budget.
Due to the involved nature of 10n staff support during these projects, other aspects of the work
done included network and server security, hardware specifications, interviews and hiring, departmental
policy creation, management presentations, and backup policy enforcement.
Unfortuantely, both of these applications were internal, or part of an extranet, so only screen captures are
available for display.
